YouTube now accepts 2GB video uploads!
Google owned video sharing service YouTube has announced that they are now letting their members to upload videos of up to 2GB in file size.
The limit was previously set at 1GB.
The increased file size limit would enable video publishers to upload video in even higher quality.
YouTube said in a blog post about this new enhancement: “The increase means you can upload longer videos at a higher resolution as well as large HD files directly from your camera. The changes allow you to share links directly to the HD version of your video, as well as embed the HD version on your blog or website.”
Looks like YouTube has prepared well to handle the onslaught of video uploads from Apple iPhone 3GS users.
There is some disappointment however. YouTube has still not increased the 10 minute time limit for the videos posted by regular users.
