Google Voice starts accepting new users
Google has started accepting new users for their Google Voice service.
Google Voice is essentially powered by technologies Google acquired from GrandCentral.
The service enables the user to have a single unique phone number which can forward calls to multiple numbers.
Google said in a blog post about the new developments: “We are happy to share that Google Voice is beginning to open up beyond former GrandCentral users. If you requested an invitation on the Google Voice site or previously on GrandCentral, keep your eye out for an invite e-mail.”
Google has not yet revealed how they plan to monetize this service which would be provided for free.
