TweetTabs is perhaps the best tool to monitor keywords on Twitter

The makers of the popular TweetMeme service have launched their new project named TweetTabs.

TweetTabs looks similar to popular Twitter applications like TweetDeck but it is primarily a web based service to keep track of your choice of keywords.

You can add as many keywords as you want and they open in their own columns. They refresh on their own making it easy to monitor the activity on the Twitter network.

There is no need to create any account as it saves your keywords through cookies so you can visit it back to get back your personalized home page.

Here is what TweetTabs has to say about the service:

TweetTabs is a way of viewing the latest tweets of upcoming twitter trends or searches.

Use the search box to easily search twitter for tweets, TweetTabs will automatically update each tab with new content when it comes in.
