Microsoft Outlook 2010 HTML rendering engine protest!

FixOutlook.org is a new web based protest that is taking place right now.

They are appealing Microsoft to fix the HTML rendering in their upcoming update to Microsoft Outlook email client.

The website states that the company is going to use the same MS Word rendering engine to display HTML formatted emails in Outlook 2010 which is well broken and not standard compliant.

This means that Outlook 2010 would also lack support for latest CSS properties.

The protest is currently based on Twitter as they are asking interest users to tweet their protest to Microsoft.

Yeah I joined the protest! What’s the deal, Microsoft? I don’t understand why they’d do this.
