Microsoft Security Essentials beta edition coming out next week
US based software giant Microsoft has announced that they are going to release a test version of its much talked about security product Microsoft Security Essentials on Tuesday.
Microsoft Security Essentials was codenamed Microsoft Morro and it is a free security product that would be offered to genuine Windows OS users.
Microsoft said that the program is designed to detect and remove malicious programs from the user’s computer.
The company said that the software would stay up to date by downloading updates from the web so little user intervention would be required.
Microsoft is replacing their previous offering Windows Live OneCare with this new product.
Windows Live OneCare was a paid application and it gained a bad reputation for missing some popular viruses and worms.
