Microsoft Money Plus discontinued
Microsoft has announced that they are discontinuing another product offering.
Microsoft Money Plus would not be sold after June 30. Customers who acquire it would have to get their copies activated by January 31 in 2011.
Microsoft spoke about their decision to discontinue this financial product:
‘With banks, brokerage firms and Web sites now providing a range of options for managing personal finances, the consumer need for Microsoft Money Plus has changed. After suspending annual updates of Money Plus in 2008, Microsoft is announcing today that we will no longer offer Microsoft Money Plus for purchase after June 30, 2009.’
The company is now aiming to provide information and other relevant services through the MSN Money website.
