Apple iPhone 3.0 coming out on June 17

Apple has announced the launch date for their new mobile platform.

Apple iPhone 3.0 software update would be made available on June 17.

It would be a free update for all iPhone users. However, Apple iPod Touch users would be required to pay USD 10.

It would be compatible with all the iPod Touch that have been released in the market.

Apple claims that the new software release comes with more than 100 new features. Most of the new updates are aimed at the developers who get more ability to develop new exciting feature rich apps for the iPhone.

Some new features include:

Cut, Copy, Paste.
Landscape mode for more applications like Mail, Notes and Messages.
Spotlight feature which can be used to find anything on the device.
And a lot more!
