Kaspersky targets Indian market with security products

Russian security software maker Kaspersky is now focusing on the Indian market.

The company is going to launch their latest range of products and services in the Indian market.

They are also considering setting up a local office in India to promote their services in the country.

Kaspersky Director (Channel-South Asia) Alexander Gnatusin spoke about company’s plans for India: “Due to its ease of use and continuous updates, our products have become popular all around the world, including India. As our latest products have already become a trendsetter in the Indian security solutions market, it is the right time to expand our market development programme. We are expanding our presence in India and soon will be opening our regional office in Hyderabad. We are also looking at extending our product line in India, besides setting up our marketing initiatives. We plan to increase our spending to $1 million by 2009-end.”

They have just launched Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 which comes with new features like virtual keyboard and parental control. They are also offering mobile solutions which is a fast growing market.
