WordPress 2.8 could be released on June 10
WordPress developers have revealed that they are aiming to release the next stable edition of the popular blogging software on June 10.
WordPress 2.8 is currently undergoing beta testing.
Developers have also stated that the next edition of WordPress would require at least MySQL 4.1.2.
Current editions of WordPress require MySQL 4.0.
They are also considering alerting the users to move to PHP 5.x in case they are still on PHP 4.x.
