Mahalo 2.0 launched
Jason Calacanis has launched the second generation of the Mahalo project.
Mahalo 2.0 is now online and one of the major new features is that you can make money by contributing to the service.
It would not be very easy though.
Users get the option of starting new topics and maintain them. If you are capable of doing that, Mahalo would split the revenues generated from that topic with you.
The idea is to get more people involved in the project as Mahalo aims to become bigger and more useful.
The new revenue model would help the service as they would not be paying upfront to contributors. They have also integrated Mahalo Answers with the primary sections of the service.
They are using a customized CMS this time around which should make it easier for people to add content to the service.
