Mozilla Firefox 3.6 codenamed Namoroka
Mozilla is closing in on the release of Firefox 3.5 edition. This is a major update for the popular open source web browser.
Mozilla developers have now revealed that they have codenamed the next release as Namoroka.
Firefox 3.6 would be called Namoroka.
The developers are aiming to release this version of the Firefox browser before the middle of next year.
Other details:
Firefox 3.6 would be based on Gecko 1.9.2.
They are aiming to improve the time taken in: starting the browser, opening up a new tab and overall responsiveness of the Firefox browser.
They are also planning to add profiles functionality in addition to identity management.
