SourceForge has announced that they are now acquiring Ohloh.
SourceForge is known for hosting thousands of open source projects. They also operate news websites in addition to ecommerce networks.
Ohloh is a social network and directory for social network developers and projects.
The financial aspects of this acquisition deal have not been revealed to the media.
SourceForge did not reveal on what they have planned for this newly acquired web property.
