Church of Scientology blocked from editing Wikipedia
Wikipedia has now blocked Church of Scientology to edit any of the pages hosted on the popular open source encyclopaedia.
This block is applicable on all IP addresses owned or operated by the Church of Scientology and its associates.
The ban was decided through a vote and 10 members supported the notion.
Wikipedia does not recommend entities from editing their own entries. The basic idea is that no one is allowed to promote their own interests.
Content is welcome from any party as long as it is neutral.
Church of Scientology has been banned as it was pushing their own agenda in articles posted on the Wikipedia network.
