Nokia Ovi Store launch marred with issues
Nokia took a long time before they launched their Ovi mobile store recently for their customers.
The launch of the store however did not go smooth. The company had to apologize to their customers for the poor performance of the store at launch time.
Customers complained about slow speed on the store. Others said that they faced problems while installing applications on their mobile phones.
Nokia OVI store is currently available in five languages including English, Spanish and Russian.
Nokia spoke about the problems: “We have apologised to users on the blog and we encourage people to carry on giving us feedback as we develop the service better. We have added server capacity to improve the speed of service.”
Nokia Ovi Store has been launched to compete with Apple App Store.
