Yahoo Buzz being promoted on Yahoo India homepage
Yahoo India has announced the launch of Yahoo Buzz service customized for Indian audiences.
Yahoo Buzz is now highlighted on the home page of Yahoo India.
India is just the second market outside India where Buzz is being promoted on the home page.
Yahoo India spoke about Buzz: “Yahoo! Buzz is a great example of how we can combine popular stories with the wisdom of real people to determine what is most engaging and relevant to our millions of users.”
They are collaborating with leading content providers in the local market including: NDTV, India Today Group, Times of India, Zee, A2 Media and One India.
This feature enables Yahoo users to vote on stories they want featured on the Yahoo homepage.
