Eucalyptus approved for sale on Apple App Store

Apple has done it again. They rejected a mobile application only to land in heavy criticism on the web.

They have now approved Eucalyptus mobile app for sale on the Apple App Store.

The application was initially rejected as it could access eBooks with adult content from the web.

Eucalyptus is essentially an eBook reader which access public domain material from the 20,000-plus item classic library of Project Gutenberg.

Developer of the application Jamie Montgomerie received a call from Apple representative and his application was finally approved for sale on the App Store.

Looks like all the free publicity is going to help him gain a lot of sales.

Eucalyptus is on sale for USD 10.
