FirefoxNotify: Integrate Firefox notifications with Ubuntu
If you are on the latest Ubuntu release, you might have seen the new notification system that is used by the operating system.
Firefox on the other hand has its own notification system.
In case you want Firefox to use Ubuntu’s internal system, there is an add-on for that!
FirefoxNotify is a Linux only extension for Firefox web browser which makes the browser display its messages through Ubuntu’s system.
It connects Firefox with the Galago project’s specification for notifications.
It would technically work with any Linux distribution that has the Galago system installed on it.
