Adobe plans to release patches on a regular basis
Adobe has revealed that they are now planning to release patches for their products on a regular pre-defined basis.
The company hopes to follow Microsoft and Oracle with this approach.
Adobe said that they aim to have a quarterly schedule to release patches and bug fixes for their applications.
Adobe has been facing a lot of criticism for the lack of updates for their products. Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Flash are often under attack due to bugs in them.
Brad Arkin, Adobe’s director for product security and privacy said: “The feedback from customers is that getting any patches for Reader and Acrobat out at the same time as Microsoft allows them to leverage existing processes and resources to get desktops updated as quickly as possible.”
