Apple now testing push notifications on iPhone 3.0
Apple is said to be testing push notifications on the under development iPhone 3.0 firmware.
This feature has been activated in a new app from AP.
Apple is now asking the iPhone developers to test out the functionality.
Apple iPhone 3.0 firmware update is likely to be launched sometime next month.
This update would include an expanded notifications service for third-party applications.
Apple currently has push notifications for just the base applications that come with the iPhone.
