Mozilla Fennec Alpha 1 now on Windows Mobile
Mozilla Firefox fans using Windows Mobile powered mobile devices have something to cheer about.
Mozilla has now released the first alpha edition of Fennec web browser for this platform.
It is still not ready for prime time usage as the developers said that it is for testing purposes only.
Mozilla is now inviting interested Windows Mobile developers and users to help develop, test and refine this new mobile browser in town.
This new alpha has some new features and enhancements over the previous releases…
They have added support for add-ons. The user interface of the browser has been rebuilt to be entirely CSS based.
We are hoping for more frequent updates from the developers so that we can have a good quality open source web browser for mobile devices.
