Mac OS X 10.5.7 released
Apple has released a mega update for their Mac OS X operating system.
The update is around 450MB big and it upgrades the copy of Mac OS X Leopard to Mac OS X 10.5.7.
This is the largest such update for the Mac operating system since March last year.
The company said that this update patches as many as 67 vulnerabilities in the Mac operating system.
The patches include the fixes for two bugs that were utilized by security experts earlier this year to win hacking competitions.
Apple has also released a similar patch update for the users of Mac OS X Tiger.
The company said that the fixes in this update are for applications like BIND, CoreGraphics, Disk Images, Flash Player, iChat, Kerberos, QuickDraw Manager, Safari, Spotlight, WebKit and other components.
