Google Chrome ads now on Television
Google has chosen the old fashioned television to promote their Chrome web browser.
Google Chrome was launched last year and it has gained some loyal users.
But it has failed to gain much market share which is dominated by Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox to some extent.
Google has already been marketing Chrome heavily through their own properties like YouTube, Gmail and even Google Search.
They recently placed a huge advertisement on the New York Times home page.
The latest in the series of promotions are now broadcasting on television sets in the US market.
The television ad being broadcasted by Google is pretty discreet. It does not talk about the features of the web browser but just suggest ‘Install Google Chrome’.
Google Chrome is an excellent web browser though we are still waiting for the company to launch the Linux and Mac OS X editions.
