Google brings Push Gmail and Calendar to Blackberry
Google has announced that they are now providing a service that would push Gmail and Calendar items to native Blackberry applications.
This service would be provided to customers of Premier and Education editions of Google Apps.
This service is targeted at customers who prefer to use Blackberry’s own native applications to access email and calendar.
Google is currently offering a beta version of this new service. A final edition is expected to be out in July.
Companies would be required to install an extension to their BlackBerry Enterprise Server to enable this additional functionality.
