Google to provide location services to Firefox users
US based search engine giant Google has just announced that they have now become the default location provider service for the Firefox web browser.
The new edition of Firefox would feature internal support for such a technology. It would be an opt-in feature of course.
Users would be able to update their location on their browser without using a third party tool.
This is a major victory for the recently launched Google Latitude service by the search engine giant. They are already the default search engine in most language editions of Firefox.
Mozilla Firefox is the second most popular in the world today.
