Windows 7 RC1 would work till June 2010
Microsoft is all set to release the first and probably the only release candidate version of Windows 7.
The company has now revealed that this edition of Windows 7 would work till June next year.
This would give the users around 13 months to use this test version of Windows 7 operating system.
This would however not be the finished product as Microsoft would fix out the remaining bugs and flaws before releasing the final edition probably later this year.
Windows 7 is expected to be launched sometime later this year before the holiday season.
Microsoft states on Windows 7 RC Edition:
The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to rebuild your test machine using a valid version of Windows before the software expires. You’ll need to rebuild your test PC to replace the OS and reinstall all your programs and data.
