Search Google from Inside Gmail is the latest Gmail Labs feature
Google has added a new feature on Gmail through Gmail Labs. Now you can search on Google from within the Gmail interface by using this new addition.
This feature could be useful when you are looking for search results for inclusion in an email. You no longer require opening a new tab for searching and then coming back to Gmail tab.
This feature might not be very useful to a lot of features and hence it’s an opt in setting just like every other Gmail Labs enhancement.
The feature also enables direct entry of search results on Gmail Chat windows or on an email being replied to.
Google Gmail Labs now has so many new features that the developers need to organize them better. It has now become hard to find the new ones. New users are also going to get terribly confused if they check it for the first time. Maybe, they would sort them as per their uses in the future.
