Apple Mac might soon get Blu-Ray support

Windows Vista Service Pack 2 would enable users to write on Blu-Ray media disc without requiring any third party software.

Apple Mac might soon feature support for this high definition storage format.

Market sources say that the upcoming Apple iTunes 8.2 release could include support for Blu-Ray media format.

Apple has just released a preview edition of this software to beta testers along with the latest beta of iPhone 3.0 mobile package.

Apple Macs currently do not support Blu-Ray media discs out of the box. Users have to rely on third party applications to access them.

This just might be the hint to possible future Mac launches that might include Blu-Ray drives!
