YouTube Insight data is now exportable

Google owned video sharing service YouTube has announced that they are now enabling video publishers to export their YouTube Insight data through CSV formatted files.

YouTube Insight is the analytical engine hosted on YouTube which provides viewer data on the videos shared by users.

CSV is an open format and it can be opened with any spreadsheet application.

This new feature would enable publishers to get access to the raw analytical data related to their video content which can then be used for further analysis.

Great open step taken by YouTube.
