Windows 7 would feature a virtual Windows XP environment
Microsoft has revealed that Windows 7 would feature a virtual Windows XP environment via an optional download.
This environment would be perfect to run legacy applications that are not supported on Windows 7.
This alone could turn out to be a good enough reason to upgrade to Windows 7 provided it works well for popular applications.
Another feature revealed recently is that Windows 7 PC will now be able to stream media to any Internet-connected Windows 7 PC.
Windows 7 RC edition is coming out next week.
