Windows 7 RC edition coming next week
Microsoft has announced that they would start delivering Release Candidate version of Windows 7 to beta testers starting next week.
Windows 7 RC would be delivered to Microsoft’s MSDN and TechNet members on April 30.
It would be available publicly from May 5.
Incidentally, a version said to be this same RC edition is already out on torrent networks. The version leaked is Build 7100 of Windows 7.
It is not confirmed whether this build would be distributed as the RC edition of Windows 7.
Looks like Microsoft could just get Windows 7 out in time before the crucial holiday season this year.
