Google Toolbar 6 Beta with My Location features released
Search engine giant Google has launched a new updated beta edition of Google Toolbar 6.
This new beta release features My Location functionality which is similar to the Google Latitude service that was launched sometime back.
This feature makes it possible for the toolbar to pinpoint the location of the user to make searches more local.
Essentially, it uses the information obtained by the IP address and potentially GPS to find out the location of the user to provide localized results.
This toolbar feature is currently available only to the users of Internet Explorer browser.
