Automattic acquires Blo.gs from Yahoo
Yahoo continues to get rid of unwanted services to simply their operations.
They have now sold their Blo.gs pinging and blog trackback technology to Automattic.
Automattic is the company behind the popular blogging service and technology WordPress.
Yahoo had itself acquired this service in 2005.
Incidentally, Automattic already has a similar service named Ping-o-matic.
