Baby Shaker application removed from Apple App Store
Baby Shaker has been in news for all the wrong reasons. This application was somehow approved by Apple to appear on sale on the Apple App Store.
It featured a crying baby illustrations and the user was required to shake the iPhone/iPod Touch to do something about.
Incidentally, the only way to stop the baby from crying was to shake the device hard enough to virtually kill the baby.
The application description stated: “On a plane, on the bus, in a theater. Babies are everywhere you don’t want them to be! They’re always distracting you from preparing for that big presentation at work with their incessant crying. Before Baby Shaker there was nothing you could do about it. See how long you can endure his or her adorable cries before you just have to find a way to quiet the baby down!”
Apple has confirmed that the application was removed from the App Store after they received the complaints from the customers. It is not yet clear how many editions of this application were sold.
