L.A. Times News Reader for iPhone released
Los Angeles Times has released their own mobile application for the Apple iPhone platform.
L.A. Times News Reader is available on the Apple App Store for both iPod Touch and the iPhone.
It showcases stories from LATimes.com formatted for the mobile screen.
The news media giant has also released L.A. Times Sports Reader which is aimed at the sports fans.
Both of these applications are available for free. They lack offline storage facility however so internet connectivity is required.
