ShipIt now accepting requests for Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) CDs
If you want to get your hands on a free Ubuntu installation disk, ShipIt is the best way to proceed.
ShipIt service is operated by Canonical who are the maintainers of this popular Ubuntu distribution.
The service is now accepting requests for Ubuntu 9.04 edition.
No options are available. They would deliver one CD per account. Special requests for more CDs can be made but they can be rejected by the company.
One strange development is that we could not find an option to pick between a 32bit and a 64bit edition.
We could choose between the desktop and the server editions of Ubuntu 9.04. Looks like they are going to deliver the 32bit edition which is more popular.
