SlingPlayer for iPhone might be rejected by Apple
BoyGenius has reported that AT&T has asked Apple to reject the SlingPlayer for iPhone application.
SlingPlayer for iPhone was showcased at the Macworld Expo earlier this year and it was supposed to be conforming to Apple guidelines for iPhone applications.
However, the application is said to be data intensive and might cause problems for AT&T.
Sling itself has said that they are yet to get any answer from Apple for their application.
The company has submitted the first version of this mobile application for approval.
Apple approves every application that appears on the Apple App Store.
If this application is rejected by Apple, the developers might have to change it to only work on Wi-Fi connections.
Skype for iPhone is a good example which does not work on 3G or Edge networks.
