Microsoft Office 2007 SP2 coming later this month

Software giant Microsoft has announced that the second service pack for their Office 2007 would arrive later this month.

This would be the first major upgrade to the MS Office 2007 suite since December 2007.

Microsoft would start delivering Office 2007 SP2 as an upgrade via Windows Server Update Services from April 28.

This update is pretty important. It would bring support for Open Document Format to Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications. It also enhances the performance of the MS Outlook 2007.
