BackBlaze now available for Apple Mac

BackBlaze has announced that they are now offering their services on Apple Mac platform.

It has already been available on the Windows platform.

The automated online backup service is available for just USD 5 per month.

They had been testing their application privately. It is now available to any customer using Mac OS X.

The company said that the application is designed to take backup of the entire drive excluding operating system, applications, and temporary files.

Sadly, it also ignores files larger than 4GB in size. The backup is done in the background automatically once the configuration is done by the user.
