Google Groups now using Google Translate API

Google has added on the fly translation feature on Google Groups.

The service uses the company’s own Google Translate API and it does not require the user to reload the page to view the translated content.

Google has already been using this technology on lots of other services including Picasa Web Albums, Google Maps reviews, YouTube and Google Reader.

Some third party services also use the same feature to enhance the usability of their service. Twitter is one big example.
