Windows 7 might not attract corporate sector immediately

Looks like Windows XP is not going to disappear in the near future.

Market analysts have said that a lot of Microsoft corporate customers are unlikely to move to Windows 7 platform in the first year of availability.

A lot of them have already avoided Windows Vista for various reasons.

One of the major reasons is said to be the global economic crisis which requires the companies to keep the costs low.

Windows 7 deployment would be an expensive exercise for any company as it would require some hardware upgrades.

Windows 7 also has a tweaked user interface which could create long term users of the Windows XP operating system.

Inside sources say: “Early beta testers are providing many glowing reports about the functionality and performance of Windows 7, especially compared to Windows Vista. But is corporate IT excited about the new operating system, or do they dread yet another release?”

Microsoft has not revealed the launch date of the Windows 7 operating system but it is likely to be launched sometime later this year.
