Hotmail suffers some downtime scaring its users

We have already seen several downtime stories connected to Google’s Gmail webmail service.

Now, Hotmail users had something to worry about as the service suffered some glitches.

Microsoft has now confirmed that all the problems are resolved with their MSN, Windows Live and Hotmail services.

Users were told that their email accounts did not exist and they would need to create a new one.

Microsoft notified in a blog posting: “All Hotmail services are back to normal and the outage is resolved. If you still have problems, you can submit your problem directly to the support team.”

The company also said that none of the email messages were lost during the period and the message was delivered due to some problem at their end.
