Intel aims to support Windows 7 with Atom processor range
Intel has said that they aim to support Windows 7 operating system with their Atom series of processors which are designed for use on netbooks.
The company said that they are planning to support at least two versions of Windows 7 by the end of this year.
Intel said that for starters they would begin with support for Starter and Basic editions of Windows 7.
They are also working on adding support for Moblin v2.0 Linux platform.
Intel Atom of course already supports Windows XP Home and Windows Vista Basic in addition to a couple of Linux distributions.
