Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SP1 coming up
Microsoft is all set to launch the first service pack of SQL Server 2008.
This release is important as a lot of potential customers are waiting for this service pack to move to this version of Microsoft SQL Server.
The company is likely to see a lot of customers migrating to this release from the previous versions: SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
This service pack is also designed to simplify the deployment of SQL Server 2008.
Microsoft spoke about the RC1 of SQL Server 2008: “We got feedback from customers that they wanted more predictability, service packs that they could deploy without worrying about application compatibility.”
