It has become a powerful tool to stay up to date on local as well as international news.

Searching twitter has also become one of the most talked about talking online. Searches on Twitter can be used to get up to date information on any possible topic online.

Google could be interested in this phenomenal information source.

Google still does own Jaiku, rather than “owned”. But it’s done nothing visible with the service since it bought it.

That is right… But Google did reveal that it is not being developed officially any more. More like a discarded service brand.

‘Jaiku is a part of Google. The service is maintained by volunteer Google engineers on their spare time.’
