Nmap updated to detect Conficker

A new version of Nmap has been released which is capable of detecting Conficker on a network.

This new edition features a parameter which can be used to scan a network for the worm…

The command to be used is:

nmap -PN -T4 -p139,445 -n -v –script=smb-check-vulns –script-args safe=1 [targetnetworks]

This new updated release also comes loaded with other improvements and bug fixes.
