Windows Server 2008 Foundation released
Microsoft has released a new version of their Windows Server OS.
The company announced the availability of Windows Server 2008 Foundation.
Microsoft said that this server operating system is aimed at very small businesses with up to 15 users. The company said that the solution will cost less than $1,000 for the hardware and software combined.
This product is largely a stripped down edition of the regular Windows Server OS.
It would be offered by personal computer manufacturers like Acer, HP, Dell, and IBM in the coming weeks.
The price of this OS product would vary from market to market.
