Skype is now available on Apple App Store
Market sources were right. Skype is now available on the Apple App Store.
It is already available on the Japanese version of the Apple App Store and it should soon be available in other markets.
The application is free and online sources say that it works pretty well.
Skype is one of the most popular VOIP services in the world. It allows web users to talk to each other on Skype network for free.
Users can connect to external networks for a small charge.

Update: Skype for iPhone would only work through the Wi-Fi connection… No 3G or EDGE support. AT&T does it again.
