Microsoft to release two big patches this coming Tuesday
Tomorrow is the second Tuesday of the December month and as usual, it is the day when the software giant Microsoft would be releasing their latest round of security patches. The company has informed that two major patches would be delivered tomorrow for the Windows operating system and as per security experts, one of these patches should be for their web browser offering Internet Explorer.
The company has only revealed about this latest patch release that one of the two patches would be for a critical bug discovered in their software products. The notification from the company also said that two non-security, high-priority updates would roll out on Windows Update and Software Update Services.
The release would also contain three other fixes on Microsoft Update and Windows Server Update Services. As usual, Microsoft would also be updating their Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. The company last month released just one patch, which fixed three different vulnerabilities.
However, security experts are not impressed by this announcement of the latest round of patches. Marc Maiffret, co-founder and chief hacking officer at eEye Digital security said that even after these latest patch releases, several dangerous Windows flaws would remain unpatched.
