Google updates YouTube with some new features
Google continues to enhance their YouTube video sharing service some new features.
Here are some of the highlights:
Upload Progress Bar: Google has added an upload progress bar for the users who upload videos on YouTube. This would work in all supported web browsers. They are working on a feature that would display the estimated time remaining in the completion of the video upload.
Sharing HD Videos: Google has now added an official URL parameter (hd=1) for sharing video links which are also available in high definition format.
Share to Twitter: Google has integrated Twitter in the sharing section. Users now get a simple option to share the video link through their Twitter accounts.
YouTube EDU: Google has launched a new section on the site named YouTube EDU which would showcase all the great educational content being uploaded to YouTube by colleges and universities.
Enhanced support for mobile browsers: Google has now launched a new mobile landing page for YouTube.
Single login page: YouTube now has a single login page for both YouTube and Google credentials.
