Barnes & Noble launches ebook reader for Blackberry
Amazon has launched their Kindle application for the Apple iPod Touch and iPhone devices.
Now, Barnes & Noble has announced the launch of a similar application for the Research in Motion Blackberry smartphone.
This application has been developed by Fictionwise which was recently acquired by Barnes & Noble.
Incidentally, this application is already available on several platforms including iPhone, iPod touch, Windows Mobile, Palm, PocketPC, and Symbian.
The application is pretty capable and it allows the reader to browse, purchase, and download eBooks directly to their handset.
Barnes & Noble has on offer around 60,000 eBooks for the Blackberry.
